How it works - dress collection and drop off
Pick-ups: available in the two days before your event, between 8:30am and 7:30pm. You’ll receive a collection email in the evening 3 days before your event, with a link to book a collection time.
Drop-offs: dresses must be returned within 2 days of your event, by 7pm on the second day.
Emails: reminder emails are automated, so you’ll definitely hear from us! We’ll always contact you via the email address you used when booking the dress. If you can’t find the email, please check your spam folder or ask family members before getting in touch.
Pick-ups
When will you contact me?
You’ll receive two automated emails:
- 10 days before your event (evening): a further confirmation email, including FAQs.
- 3 days before your event (evening): your collection email, with a link to book your pick-up time.
- All reminder emails are automated, so you’ll definitely hear from us! If you can’t find the email, please check your spam folder or ask family members before getting in touch.
When can I collect the dress?
- Pick-ups are available within the two days before your event, between 8:30am and 7:30pm.
- Your dress and any accessories will be placed in a labelled bag in the dropbox on the studio porch.
- Once collected, we recommend hanging your dress up asap to avoid creasing, so it looks its best for your event.
Do I need to book a collection time?
- Yes. Booking a collection time allows us to have your dress ready. If you arrive without booking a time, your dress may not be available for collection and there might not be anyone in the studio to assist.
Can I receive the collection link earlier?
- We’ll email you a collection link in the evening, 3 days before your event.
- Pick-ups are available between 8.30am and 7.30pm over the two days leading up to your event.
- You can plan your pick-up in advance and confirm your preferred time once the link arrives.
Can I pick up dresses for multiple people at the same time?
- Yes absolutely. Just make sure each person books their own collection time using the link, and all choose the same time slot. Then one person can come in at that time and collect all the dresses together.
Can I pick up my dress early?
- Early pick-ups aren’t typically available. Many of our dresses are hired on back-to-back weekends and are prepared on a tight turnaround. Collecting within the scheduled window is essential so each dress can be ready for its next booking.
Drop-offs
When do I return the dress?
- Your dress and any accessories must be returned within 2 days after your event, by 7pm on the second day. For example, if your event is on a Friday night, the dress must be returned by 7pm on Sunday.
- Place everything back into the provided bag and return it to the dropbox. There’s no need to notify us once it’s returned. Dress washing is included as part of your rental.
Can I return my dress late?
- Late returns aren’t typically available. Dresses are turned around quickly for their next booking, and returning on time is essential. Items returned outside the return window may incur late fees.
Do I need to wash the dress?
- No, your rental price covers the price of dress washing.
